THE FAULT IN OUR STARS: My Reading

Image
"The Fault in our Stars " written by John Green is not just another love story. It is not real rather totally fictitious. So I would say, it's the great work of a human imagination. It is a love story of two persons who met at the Support Group, a group that is set for the wellness of cancer patients. Yes, they both were cancer patients. The girl named, Hazel Grace Lancaster was suffering from thyroid cancer and the guy, Augustus Waters was victim of Osteosarcoma. For them who don't know, Osteosarcoma is a type of bone cancer that begins in the cells which forms bones. They were accompanied by Isaac at the Support Group who miserably lost his vision midway in the story. Both of them knew that they were ill and not gonna spend much time with each other but they longed to live the moments they were together. There was a book, An Imperial Affliction, for which Hazel was quite inquisitive always for the author of the former, Peter Van Hueten, left the partial story. She...

COPYCAT MARKETING 101: My Reading

Image
COPYCAT MARKETING 101 , is a less detailed but a very well written and I would say clearly written book, by Burke Hedges . It is worthwhile reading. Published in 1997,this book containing about 120 pages with 7 chapters aims at introducing "Network Marketing". In the first six chapters, he talks about the difference between linear growth and exponential growth, people following nine to five job track against the people following franchising, compounding and how process of synergism can lead to exponential growth. In my opinion it could be more detailed. If there is one thing every single person in this world is good at it's copycating. And he viewed network marketing as copycat marketing. Simply we have to just copycat our upline. In simple words,Network marketing, also known as multi-level marketing (MLM), is a direct selling method that uses a network of people to sell a product. How Burke Hedges describe it? It talks about network marketing as ultima...

HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE: My Reading

Image
HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE is another self-help book written by Dale Carnegie , an American writer specially penning and sermonizing in self-improvement. Unlike other self-help books, this one is full of illustrations and real life examples. This book was written first in its niche. It is based on human interpersonal relations business and in daily life. Carnegie has done his humble duty to take out the best of this world. I had the great and joyous time reading it. Feels realistic. There is so much to learn in this book. Trying to implement the principles in it. Very well written. Let's peek into the Carnegie's principles given in "How to win friends and influence people" Don't criticize to appreciate be it anyone the senior the junior you never know how can that appreciate can be a beginning of a new and fresh life of someone. Don't criticize, condemn or complain. Do honest and sincere appreciation forget flattery. Arouse in other person an eage...

THINK AND GROW RICH by Napolean Hill: My Reading

Image
A QUITTER NEVER WINS-AND—  A WINNER NEVER  QUITS How one can attain riches? How one can beat procrastination? How one can overcome his fears? How one can transform his ardent desire into monetary equivalent? How can one harness and use the power of DESIRE? Instead of searching on Google and YouTube," How to be rich......?"  Follow your passion and start improving and investing in yourself. Hill published his first interpretation of this individual achievement philosophy in 1928 as the multi-volume Law of Success, exactly twenty years after the Carnegie  interview. Think and Grow Rich was a modern abridgment of that set, published in 1937 written by Napoleon Hill . I hear about this book from a YouTube video as a life changing book that's why I picked this one. Really enthusiast one!! The person who stops studying merely  because he has finished school is forever hopelessly doomed to mediocrity, no matter what maybe his calling.  Before we can accumula...
